My OH is worried he won't be able to find work now he's on the SOR. He doesn't have great mobility so warehouse or physical work isn't an option for him.

Are they able to be self employed within any type of role. Which i know isnt always easy. But skips the need to disclose when you're your own boss.
Its also worth googling about there are companies that give chances to those who have criminal records so they may be a better option to look into if a job is in your area

Google 'Ban the Box'. They have a list of companies who don't ask the question at application stage - although they might ask at interview stage (my husband got turned down by Veolia as it was a sexual offence despite appealing the decision - their reasoning was ludicrous! and Iceland don't employ any one with a sexual offence conviction either)
