Hello, i have found myself in a situation I am finding hard to comprehend. My son was arrested for contacting someone under the age of 16 and I don't know how I,ll be able to move forward????

Sadly there are many of us on here in the same or very similar situations. The posts on here are really helpful for understanding the process, although hard reading as it's not nice at all. The helpline is a great first port of call for some support as well. Be kind to yourself, it's such a shock to begin with but that does settle. Take care x

I second the post above, it is a horrible place to find yourself, time helps a bit and reading others' posts on here can make you feel less alone. Sending you a big hug x

Its a grieving process. With time it does become easier. You have to morn the person you thought you knew and loved. That loves doesnt just instantly go just because theyve done a horrific crime and thats what makes the pain so much worse.

Be kind to yourself, give yourself time. It can be quiet a long process depending on the area from arrest to court.
