Parental responsibility

Has anybody successfully been able to remove parental responsibility from the offending parent and if so how long did the process take please , my daughter's father has just been found guilty of 4 separate things and is looking at a minimum of a 5 year sentence , social services have said they would write a letter of recommendation to support this also , thanks

Hit ex took me to court and got a no contact order. Removing the parental rights is apparently really hard but maybe look in to a phohibited steps order?
my exs convictions were sexual communication with a child (it was one of them hunter groups that catch them)
I believe he will apply to court but I feel protected that he has the sexual hard prevention order and can't be around children for 10 years. Cafcas recommended no contact indirect or direct
unfortunately court gave him indirect and he sends a gift and a letter once a month this is prior to having no contact for 12 months

If you apply to court to remove his rights local university's offer free legal help I hope this helps
