So my person was originally arrested in September 2025 for distribution. He admitted to forwarding 2 videos straight away to the police these were Cat B & Cat C. Phone sent off forensics found 46 images in the system files. 12 Being Cat A not sure how many B & C. File went to CPS on may 27th, next bail date is Tuesday the 18th. The solicitor rang and said CPS has issued charges. Originally he was looking at distribution x2 and making x3, his solicitor is confident that charges will be lowered to possession (not sure how he come to this conclusion) anyone's person ever had similar charges and them be dropped to possession only?
Im trying to keep a level head at the moment, we knew this day was coming but now it's here I feel sick. Im also 21 weeks pregnant and dealing with a selective mute 5 year old who this whole ordeal has had a massive negative impact on and she's regressed so much.
Im glad the end is somewhat in sight, just the PLO process to keep battling with social care once this is finished. He quite rightly deserves whatever sentence he gets and only has himself to blame, I'll never excuse his behaviour I only hope he'll learn from it.
