Hi, has anyones solicitor sent a letter of discontinuance to the police ? I asked our solicitor if there was anything they could do as my son was on bail for over 12 months and has now been rui . It has been 2 and a half years since his arrest and the police have overwhelming evidence the solicitor has said....so why is it taking so long. The solicitor said they can send this particular letter x

My ex has just been moved to RUI just under a a year after arrest, as the police pushed for an extension of bail for the third time to extend for another year and judge refused.

So there are people waiting 2-4 more years after that?! I've been refusing to let him near the school or be too involved incase at any time they decide to prosecute and suddenly everyone knows. But goodness that's a long time.
