NFA but still confused

This is my first post and I don't know what to do. My family have had the knock twice; once in 2023 and once again a month ago. First time my brother was arrested and they found no evidence so he got NFA. Once again, they knocked and arrested him and my dad. After a month of digital evidence, we got another NFA as they found no images or links on the devices. I know this is good news but It doesn't feel like it. There are so many unanswered questions and I don't know what to do. If there were no evidence both times then what possibly could be happening? It has thrown everything off and my family is staring to begin to be like normal. The whole situation is being ignored and I don't know how to move on. Does anyone have any explanation for what might be happening?
It could be a false positive report from a social media platform ,but the police have to investigate! I cannot think of anything else but someone might have a better insight to these things.
My husband's case has just been NFA'd after 9 months due to a lack of evidence on their devices. They were arrested due to the internet provider identifying the IP address of our house on a KIK account where the account holder had been sharing illegal images. My husband doesn't remember doing this but his name was on the account. The solicitor was surprised he wasn't charged on that evidence alone. So just because there was no evidence found on the devices doesn't mean that no offences were committed. It was a kick in the guts to find that he had probably done something delibrately. I had been giving him the benefit of the doubt that he had clicked on a link or something by mistake while viewing legal porn, though I hate that too! The question you need to ask if they will answer is what was the evidence the police had to make the arrest in the first place.
