In my OHs case, the phone was seized in July 25, analysis was back with the police the following April and the officer spent the next five or six weeks reviewing everything.

Phone seized September 2023 - 2nd interview May 2024, ran over the 12 month bail period - but that seemed to push things through quicker as bail extension was refused by courts, CPS report then came through (I assume at some point after that) and charged October 2024. Sentencing due to court delays March 2025. Part of the issue is many are not kept up to date by police with where things are at, and not all solicitors are made equal, so you're left in the dark and just have to soldier on! X
