So my husband was arrested!!! That's a bitter pill to swallow. The kindest gentlest do anything for anyone man. Amazing full time dad to our 10 & 13 year old, I couldn't ever want for better!!!
We have talked, he has talked to adults only, no children, received 2 indecent pictures and deleted them, but can't remember if he passed them to one other person. It's all talk, no action. I know that doesn't make it better!!
I am in turmoil, I believe what he is telling me, he doesn't understand the whole thing makes him sick, it was a twisted Taboo thing. I love him dearly and just don't know what to do.
Had our first social worker visit, and I am not allowed to be the kids supervisor. I don't understand why? I would never let any harm come to them, and neither would their dad. I guess we wait and see. He has 3 months before he has to report back to the police station, if he hasn't heard anything before then. I'm so lost I don't know where to turn!!!

Hi Feeling alone,
You might be feeling it, but I promise you aren't. The early days are scary, confusing, your life is on its head. Please give yourself time, space to feel your own feelings and seek support in someway- GP support, a trusted friend or family member. It's very important to look after your mental health in order to get through this.
I initially wasn't allowed to be the supervisor for my husband to see our daughter, as they said I'd "downplayed his actions" (i was distraught and disconnected from reality, I also would never let harm come to my daughter), and they wanted a second supervisor present at all times, but this was relaxed after a few weeks of contact with no issues, and I was able to supervise on my own, without time or location restrictions.
