I don't think there is a set sentence. It depends on the pre sentencing report, previous convictions, signs of remorse, how the judge feels on the day. It could be anything from a community order, suspended sentence to prison.

I think you'd need to attend court to hear the full details, or read them in the paper like I did.

The CPS report is the report outlining everything they have gathered to secure a conviction. It's a summary of what was found on a device(s). The person who's being charged will have it read to them by their solicitor in advance of the plea hearing. I was with my person at that meeting so had full oversight, but that was his decision to have me involved for full transparency, not everyone feels they can do that. It's worth noting that an independent forensic analysis may challenge the weight and validity of the report, which may help with the defense. In my experience, the family member never fully discloses. I was still finding out snippets even up to last month and that was coming from other people, not my OH. The shame overrides the choices they made. I've asked for full disclosure but I have been met with silence. That speaks volumes to me.
