Like a lot of people my kid's dad is waiting on forensics. So obv there was the knock, arrest based on almosrt 50 images (of oldest end but still "known IIOC"). If there came back nothing else what would be the likely outcome based on the intial 50 ish alone?
It depends on the category. Cat A's bing the most serious. 50 images is not as bad as 5 or 10,000, but it very much depends on how he is approaching what he has done, what rehab he his undertaking,who handles the case, what judge/magistrates you get, and an excellent solicitor.
I don't know re categories atm, but as far as I am aware (and would expext from him) no rehab of any kind and no solicitor (history of v anti-solicitor in the family courts and also declined one at arrest interview).
There are a lot of variables. It is not just about the images found.
Get a good solicitor, preferably one who specialises in this area. He needs to go on courses (my OH completed the Safer Lives course last year), he is also in therapy, I am in therapy!
Also when it gets to court, personal references are important, extenuating circumstances (not excuses). It all counts but never excuses choices made to offend.
