My person has just received NFA from the police investigation after 13 months since the arrest. I can't believe it.
Do any of you who have social services involvement (Child in Need plan) have any experience with what happens now in terms of SS?
They are carrying out a Capacity to Protect Assessment on me (even though I have been allowed to supervise contact between our child and their father since the beginning.....!) But we are just waiting for an external social worker to become available to carry this out, likewise they will also carry out a risk assessment on my partner at the same time.
Do any of you have any experience with these assessments? What was the outcome and how did that dictate integration back in to the family home before social services eventually left you alone? What was the time line like?
