Lying

My son has been charged with online offending, possession of indecent images of children. He was arrested in March and I am dying inside, every day is a lie. I'm just masking the pain. Of course everything will come out, he will lose his job, his grandparents will be devastated. Everyone will realise I've been lying to them for months and yet I can't put the family through the pain I'm going through, knowing there are several months before the Magistrates court and then who knows what? How do I get through this?

We are also going through very similar, life has been turned upside down and we are also struggling with the lying to our family and friends. The only way we are trying to get through this is to take one hour at a time. We are only 4 weeks into this, but reading some of the messages on this forum it seems to say it well get easier, this is what we are praying for.
