Hi all. This has been weighing on my mind so heavily. But from the minute i got that phonecall from the police i have been blown away by How the police and social workers seemed to be suprised by how this has affected my life. How they just dont seem to get it, any interaction I have attempted to get support such as a family liason has been met with silence.. Or "there really is nothing for people like you" I really want to start my own support group for my locsl area but i dont have a clue where to begin. Any advice ? any help? But also i cannot go public with this as I nees to protect the children in the family.

Can absolutely recommend Talking Foward's support groups. They are online but ran by brilliant facilitators, and there will be loads of people in the group in your exact situation who will understand what you're going through.
