(Apologies for the double new topic post today, I wanted to keep the two seperate as I know they may not apply to all)

im curious as to what and how the community order sentencing worked for peoples in question - specially the overall community order, not the conditions/requirements that come along with it (ie unpaid work, rehabilitation etc)

as I understand it, if a community order is given there is length given to it, ie 12 months, 18 months. I was curious as to what kind of lengths people received?

also, what happens once the requirements such as unpaid work have been completed. Is the order finished or is it outstanding until the duration is completed?

any other general info would be appreciated.

thanks all

18 months for my person. He completed the unpaid work within 5 months but the order stays in effect for the full 18 months.

6789, thanks for the reply. That's good to know. Out of curiosity, how many hours was required?

related from my question a few days ago which you might not have seen but may as well ask...

if you remember, do you remember in the plea hearing what the prosecutor wanted for their "ideal" (if you can put it like that) punishment was? The prosecutor in my persons has said they want a "high level community order". We aren't at sentencing yet so don't know what that entails, but trying to prepare what to expect.

Thanks again 6789
