Reduced SOR?

Has anyone successfully managed to reduce the duration of a SOR?
my husbands SHPO is due to be finished very soon. SOR for another 2 years.
no issues, breaches, low risk, has lived with us at family home since sentencing, allowed unsupervised.
I want to apply for a promotion at work but if dbs comes back to say I live with a SO it will be a straight no but also my current job will be at risk too. Even though I worked there prior to crime.
also kids are mid late teens. One will be 17.5 when SOR ends. I want them to have some normality as in friends in our summerhouse prior to becoming an official adult.
any help and advice massively appreciated if thing is even a thing or possible and how to go about it please ?

Hey, I believe you can apply to reduce the SHPO sentence but the SOR is a fixed notice and cannot be reduced (I may be totally wrong).
I would have a chat with his OIC about your DBS (if you get along with them), to see about the likelihood of it showing. From my understanding DBS is based on you, but will show up depending on your job (looking after children at home). Many people on here have had DBSs done on this forum and have come back okay x
