Hi everyone, has anyone had a case that wasn't reported on (image offence) as that's all I seem to see at the moment and the trash sites (UK database) seem to drag cases back up that were reported on and in some cases were not - how do they get this information? With my sons Plea looming I'm so so scared, the most scared I've ever been in my life.
Ours wasn't reported on. Most aren't.
This was one of my worst fears but like 6789 said, most image only cases don't get any media attention. The one thing I'm worried about is the open court data website, my husbands sentencing wasn't reported on but his name and court are in the open court data website and I'm petrified to look incase it says what he's been convicted of.
UK database on Facebook is awful. It's likely ran by a loner who sits in their bedroom all day trawling the internet for anything to post.
They take great pleasure in reporting offenders that died in prison for the sake of gaining laugh reactions, they also trawl the internet for people released from prison and dragging up their offending past. They also appeal for people to post incidents that haven't been reported in media such as first time offenders.
More recently I noticed they are creating AI articles of police officers in police photo shoots and inventing their own stories just to make police look like child sex offenders which is a good reason why law should be involved and remove that Facebook group once and for all.
