Hi totally broken,

Have the media got ahold of the situation? This might help others respond to your question. For me my partner's case wasn't made public thankfully and not obligated to tell landlords of the conviction.

Or are you concerned that you love near a school or other areas where children are found? That might become a factor but cannot confirm.

Best wishes

I did for a while. It was ok, not great but as soon as my husband was release from prison it was a nightmare. I was harassed and verbally abused every day. I moved but not far enough as it continued. The media published his offence in detail, some was completely exaggerated and some made up.

I moved 50 miles away and its safer now, I havent been harassed at all. If the media doesnt publish a story or neighbours become aware then I dont see an issue of staying where you are x

Hi totally heartbroken

Details of my husbands case were in the paper and we have stayed in our home. One set of neighbours were a bit of a pain initially but both neighbours just ignore us now.

We stayed and haven't had any vigilante incidents. All of the neighbours now ignore us but I don't care to be honest.

The press reporting was despicable, in court it was stated that the four movie clips we're of females under 18, however the press dropped the teen bit and instead lied by writing under 8. You cannot complain because it's such a taboo offence and it would of only given them more excuse to write about my partner and I can imagine the pleasure they would have had at his expense.

The press only want to sensationalise and they do it by dishonesty.
