my ex husband was arrested two days ago and is on bail (allowed to see my daughter only if another adult is present)

he has a partner who seems to be sticking by him but I don’t know what to tell

my daughter as I don’t wish for her to continue the regular weekend visitations.

Any ideas please ? Thank you

Morning

My daughters at the time of the knock were 13 and 16, I was told by social services to be honest and tell my children everything. I have one daughter who wants contact who cannot at the moment and one daughter who doesn't want contact but is happy for me to have contact and see my husband.

It is up to you how you feel and how much you understand about the offence and can you answer questions honestly even if it is 'I don't know'?

It is never easy but possibly being honest with your daughter and letting her make her mind up if she wants to see/have contact with her father might be best rather than her not knowing and then resenting you later because you didn't tell her and not allowing her to have an opinion regarding contact.

Big hugs to you, do not be rushed into making a decision.
