So it's exactly 3 years today since the police knocked at my door. Still no sentencing, that's supposedly due next month. 3 years of anxiety and massive ups and downs. I hate that I'm here and feel so sorry for everyone else who finds themselves here too. Life will never be the same for me and that makes me sad. Finding it hard to find positives today.

Ann, 3 years, that's horrendous! If you don't mind me asking, is there any reason it's taken that long? It makes no sense to me that these investigations take that long when the accused is seen as such a danger to society when being sentenced. You can really transform your life in that time, and the horror of arrest quickly brings people to their senses as they have to open up to family, and therapists etc.Thoughts are with you, and I admire you for keeping in going. xx

Hi Ann

3 years is crazy, you've done so well to not to end up in a psychiatric ward!

I hope the sentencing goes ahead and is not as bad as you think xx

Hi Tabs he was under investigation for ages, don't know why the computer kept getting stuck in a backlog. He finally got charged mid January which was over 2 and a half years. He was supposed to be sentenced in April but the virus prevented it going ahead. I don't know if anyone else has had to wait that long

So sorry to hear this for your sake and mine,

I am really hoping that it gets done quick! So we can start getting on with our lives. But I am only a month and a half in, but have been told so many different responses to the progress of devices that I do not believe they know what they are doing!

Hope it comes to an end for you soon

3 years?! That is horrific Ann! In Scotland they have a time limit on it, if there is no case within the year it can be thrown out. I wish you strength to continue and I'm here if you ever need me x
