Hi OSC

like you said I think it all depends on the cases that are there at the time!

with my dad his was only for images but his still got noted in our local paper and online pages etc, and it wasn't published for a long time after a good few months!!

however each case is different and fingers crossed you will be absolutely fine!

my thoughts are with you at this horrible time, take care.

Hiya, it depends on the day really. If there is a major incident being reported it may slip through as a tiny wee paragraph in the court section. If he has an interesting job, like a nurse or teacher etc, it may be more of an in depth story. My husband was charged for iioc, first offence and is autistic. He was front page of local papers, in national ones, online news and of course all over social media.

The press do not need to be at the court to obtain the details. They find sources. X

Yes, there may be publicity, but it's amazing what people miss. In my case, the case made the local media after the magistrate's court appearance, but didn't get publicised after the sentencing took place at crown court. Also, believe it or not, despite me working in a secondary school, none of the children seemed to pickup on it at all. One of the strange positives to come out of the current situation is the fact that people will be far more interested in other things!
