Police report/court transcript

Hi Blume
I got written / verbal permission off my partner and was able to read the police charges, full probation report and risk level.
Had he not given me this right we would have seperated so it was a decision he couldn't refuse...
I have a copy of his probation report and charges... These were given to me by his solicitor in court...
Best wishes

BTW...
Whilst the probation report stated low level risk and recommended a 18 month to 2 year community order as punishment, the judge decided on 12 months in prison, suspended for 2 years and 10 year SHPO/SOR.

My partner gave me copies of the police reports, and asking your family member may be the best and the simplist route. Although depending on your relationship and the content, they may be reluctant.
I'm not sure they always produce transcripts. For my partners appeal, we had to request a copy of the judges remarks. It was a recording, so we had to pay for someone to transcribe it. They didn't routinely transcribe the trial, but kept the recording in case needed. But that may differ according to the court. I'm not sure if he actually saw the transciption, it may have just been sent to the Court of Appeal.
I would note that in his interview with the police, he said a lot of stuff that wasn't really relevant to the case. Information of a sensitive nature, some involving me. I'm just noting that, as there may be disclosure issues involving not only your family member, but his partner or others. Personally I was quite shocked about how badly written, and how many unanswered questions the police reports gave. If that is a typical standard - it makes me question just how safe or proportionate many verdicts are.
If you know the court he was convicted at, you could contact them to see the possibilities. I have no idea if they can help.
