Has anyone with social services involved sent their children into school? I've been given the choice and in two minds what to do. I'm only 2 weeks into this nightmare, but have been left on my own with my 2 ever since the knock. Trying to juggle schooling and I'm still working from home.

Sadly I was given no choice but to send them in (3 days a week) I actually haven't found it too bad and it's really helped me work and get some headspace. There are hardly any children at school too. It might be because my husband is still visiting the children at home?

SS suggested we send ours into school and we have. It's been a big relief just to have some space of my own and to have time when we/I/he can have therapy sessions, etc. Plus it gives me a bunch of hours when I don't have to supervise. My only worry is as other parents notice as it's pretty obvious that we're not key workers. But I guess everyone will find out eventually so maybe this is an early way of figuring out who my friends are.

Sorry, I don't think I can edit my post, but I should add that my husband is still living here, hence the comment about supervision. My child loves school and is happy to be there (not sure how yours would adapt) and it also gives me time to work, so it might help you juggle schooling.

Thank you. I've decided to send them in 3 days a week. They're reception and yr 2 age and love school, so I'll know they'll be happy. Come june 1st reception may have been going back anyway, so thought i would get them in now. Like you said some time to myself and being able to work besides evenings will be a relief.
