Press and media when children are involved.

Good afternoon,
I know there is a thread relating to media but it doesn't seem as busy as this one so thought I'd start it here.
could anyone give any advice about the media when children are involved?
do they not report cases where the offenders children would be effective or do they really not care? I'm just really worried my grandchildren (offenders children) will be effecting if this comes out and they are bullied at school because of it :(

Effected*** not effective!
Hi Devastated
I think if the offenders children could be easily identified then you can ask the court to tell reporters not to use names but I'm not sure about that. I think the solicitor would have to prove the children might be in danger or badly affected if their father was named

To be honest from what I've seen on here courts aren't very sympathetic though. I think it would be worth mentioning it to the solicitor.
Thank you so much for the advice guys, I will be speaking to his solicitor. Big hugs to all x
