Can people on the SOR live by a school? Is it a set rule that they can't or does it depend on individual restrictions?

Thank you, we have a month to go before sentencing. I'm panicking now as it's the only thing we've not looked into. We've been here 20 odd years, since arrest no conditions, sentencing in 4 weeks.

I think it will be in an individual basis. My partner was sentenced in August and nothing in his paperwork says restrictions on where to live. But I guess it will be at the discretion of probation and maybe the police for those in close proximity. I think I read somewhere hear people have been advised to not live somewhere where schools can be seen from the property including windows.

There are differences in renting and owning your home. It can be very confusing. It also depends on the area etc. There is nothing to say they cannot live near a school if the property is owned, unlike America. If it is rented then an environmental scan would be done to see what risk factors are there such as vulnerable adults and children, also others on the register. X
