Husband was arrested last year for chatting to alleged minor who was a vigilante.

Anyway its now June, social service closed investigation on family back in February. Our son is on a safety plan no CIN or CPP. Until investigation is complete that is.

We are lucky to have a very active solicitor and we have been told the forensics is back and at the moment there doesn't seem to be anything else. But we have to wait 4-6 weeks for them to go through everything. Wouldn't expect anything less end of the day they are doing their jobs. Whether it affects our lives or not.

I really don't know what goes from here, will he be NFA, will he be cautioned, will he go to court? Will social services leave us alone?

Since I have heard the latest I cant sleep im so anxious of their decision. I hope the police are decent enough to see it as naivity and not as something more sinister.

Has anyone been in a similar position

Hello

Have identical situation I think.

Once all devices checked his file went to CPS and it's taken ages as virus hasn't helped. Think that was Feb and he was offered simple caution in May and also has 2 years on SOR. We have been married 10 years but no longer live together. I have an adult child and a 14yo but they're not his. SS have resurrected an assessment now they know we see them.

stay strong x
