Hi everyone

I just wondered if anyone has experience of pay as you go phones, my partner did all his communicating with the vigilantes from a payg phone, not his usual iphone.

The police didn't get the phone as there was a tussle with the vigilantes, & he lost the phone, can the police trace a payg phone? My friend says they are used by drug dealers as they cannot be traced. I don't know anything about them.

Sorry if this is a trivial question, I just wondered.

thanks

If the phone is a smartphone and they have the number and the phone has a battery in it then possibly. If the phone is a brick phone then probably not unless the police know the certain area in which to look where they could go back and search manually. But they probably won't need it if the vigilantes gave over possession of the evidence they have such as screenshots of conversation. Be careful what you write in the forum about the specifics of your case my love. Anyone can see it x
