So when I got the knock the lado was informed and my work was told because I worked in a school and my kids were at the same school. Since then my kids moved up to secondary and I left working there too. The police said any outcome would be sent to my work but as I left there would they have done so as it was 2 years later?

Also would the lado need to inform my new work even though my husband doesnt live with me especially now that the disqualification by association doesnt exist anymore. Doesnt seem fair if they do need to tell them as nothing to do with me

The knock came in May 2018 for my ex. I told work the next day as I needed time off. At the time Disqualification by Association still existed although I wasn't aware of this. My work called the LADO who was happy that since we split up immediately (when the police brought my ex back from first questioning he admitted what he had done and I couldn't stay with him knowing that) they didn't need to do anything - or that is what work told me at least. At every point along the way I kept work informed. I know they spoke to the LADO once it went to court and a newspaper article was published. However as my partner and I had different names and nothing connected him to me or the school in the article I don't think anything else ever happened so I'm not sure if a report was ever written about it or why it would need to be?????
