What I dont understand (as I have read) that fathers can get unsupervised access to their kids if he has split from the mum and taken it to court yet couples looking to stay together the father isnt allowed unsupervised. I just dont get it.

It depends on the conditions of the offender's shpo and other restrictions. If they are deemed a risk to their kids they have to be supervised.

My partner isn't with the mother of his kids and is bending over backwards to get visitation rights to his kids and it is hard to do.

I would be very surprised those with child sex offences have unsupervised access early on. Maybe years down the line or maybe relates to the children's age as well.

The thing with ss is that they think all people that have done this do have a risk but in my opinion it could be anyone which is why I am careful and think about risks etc when I am out and about.

Do you know what ss do when the kids are 16 and over? I'm assuming the risk goes down but some are saying 18 is the age when safe etc. But to be honest some 16 plus kids are a lot more intimidating than an adult lol
