Hi there.

I am assuming cafcass are involved in a family court case? That is what I know them for.

My partner has had just phone calls with them both about 30mins long where they ask about his charges and what he has done for rehabilitation and confirm his intentions for visitation rights. He is going for contact centre route so I have not been interviewed myself so I can't say what they will ask you.

They essentially give their opinion on what the judge should consider and request. E.g. evidence of Lucy faithful involvement and if a risk assessment is needed.

About a week or two after the interview my partner got their report which was sent to the judge. In his case the judge pretty much took the advice of cafcass with no real changes.
