Why are so many posts deleted? LFF ?

Just recapping reading older posts and loads of posts have been deleted, it says by user.. any explanation LFF ?

We have recently made some developments on the forum which gives users the power to edit and delete their own posts. When individuals delete their own posts, it removes the body of the post but not the fact that the post was there. The body is then replaced with the message that you are seeing.
