So my husband has now been told that his case is going to the CPS. And I wondered if anyone can answer a few questions for me please?
1) Can CPS decide on one chat with vigilante, to caution rather than court?
2) Has anyone settled at pre trial rather than it getting to court
3) has anyone had a successful story with just one communication online chat with vigilante.
I feel like I am struggling to keep my head above water for myself and my children.

My partner too was caught by a vigilante group in a town a long way from where we live. I thought he was away on a business trip but had arranged a meeting????
He is still Rui after 2 years 2 months, so I too would be interested to know the answers to your questions.
Like Lee1969 says it does some what 'muddy the water' with the investigation when it is vigilantes and not police decoys.
