What happens next?

we had the knock about 7 weeks ago due to them finding one image and bail has been extended until end of September whilst they examine my husbands phone.
He has admitted there will properly be images on his phone (mainly teens) but most of them are on deleted accounts so not sure if they can reactivate deleted twitter and kik accounts or if they download images automatically. He said he has never talked to under 18s but there will also be some fantasy talk with adults on his recently deleted accounts. He is also seeking help and has signed up for the inform plus which is helping me to support him as he is a good father and husband.
he currently is allowed unlimited supervised contact with our 12 year old daughter but not allowed to stay overnight so has to stay at his parents. It is so hard not knowing and trying to remain positive for her and live in this limbo.
can anyone give any idea of what could happen next. If they find more, will he be arrested or asked to come in for another interview. Could he lose contact with his daughter after charges? I am still jumping at every knock... are the police or ss likely to just turn up again?
I realise every story is different but my imagination is going double time so real stories will help to gain an understanding.

We has the knock on the door in March. All devices taken. Discussed images they knew about that day and was then reinterviewed in July once all devices had been investigated. No further arrest and no extra charges, but More images found. Less than 30 in total.
so now just awaiting CPS decision. Still not allowed to live at home due to SS still needing to complete their assessments.
Think depends on area on how long these things take. We did appeal the bail conditions and won, but didn't realise that SS can still impose restrictions. But it was a small victory we could celebrate!!

Thank you for your reply... was you given a time for the second interview or did they just turn up?
He was given a date and time the week before if I remember rightly. Might vary in different counties though, but to be honest they've been pretty reasonable up to now with communication. Could always be better I suppose but nothing too much to complain about!
