Hi all,

Still hanging on in there at the moment, I have a question children's services/ss closed our case after my parter was arrested after completing thier own investigation and left with recommendations for me. Now when will they come back is this after he is charged ie at the end of the police investigation or after outcome of court? So the end of the legal process?

They get back to you after the court case, just to check you are still doing everything to protect your children. My ex breached his condition and went back to court again and again SS got in contact with more restrictions.

I am also interested to know we are on safety plan and ss closed case. Partner living at home but no unsupervised contact and dreading what is going to happen when a decision is made as pregnant and dont want them making him leave. As everything is more settled again!

Mine didn't contact me, they were notified by the probation officer and he has a requirement to notify SS. They said as long as nothing has changed then the original contact plan stays in place, should I wish to move him back in then they will re-asses the situation and will start at a child in need plan again.

hi,

So following charges is it an automatic child I need plan or is it an initial assessment again?

My partner was arrested for communication with a child and ss has closed the case but visits have to remain supervised. Seems most cases end with a charge/sor and was just wondering if anyone know what happens after this?

Things should stay as they are for you, they'd only open back up again and ree-assess should your circumstances change such as him moving back home etc.
