Hi

my daughter asked that question way back when her brother was convicted. Here in Scotland they are checking that the doctor, health visitor, nursery or school have no concerns about your child/ children. To bad ally a formality and box tick from what I understood x

Hi rainbow

I can't see that being an issue because you took him to the doctor and they are trying to find out what it is. Try not to worry about it as the health visitoror teacher would have mentioned something before now if they though there was an issue, you have to remember that your a good mum and professional people will back you up on that. We were worried to death when our daughter was told that they would be asking doctoretc if any concerns. My daughter suffers from really bad anxiety which is now classed as mental heAlth which worried us in case the social worker brought it up. She never did bring it up. She just wanted to sit down with our daughter, make sure she knew the full story and check that she would be protective for her son. She will have to go through it again when our son comes home and we hope it will just be another visit to make sure she's sticking to no unsupervised contact. I know an assessment gets done before our son can see his nephew but I'm not sure what that consist off.
once again try not to worry x
