Hey guys!

So I am due to have a second baby very soon. The midwife knows about the situation and has tried contacting the SW but had no response.

Our case was closed back in February pending the investigation being completed. Husband is living at home no unsupervised contact with eldest child who is on a safety plan.

Last update we had on case was all devices have been completed and no other evidence has been found apart from one conversation with an undercover officer which is what he was arrested for.

Do I just carry on as usual? my plan is already to keep to no unsupervised contact with baby as well following the same safety plan as son is on.

I've done everything by the book when I first found out I was pregnant my husband informed the social worker who spoke to her manager but said case will stay closed for now. But honestly I so anxious I am being c sectioned so I will need husband home with me after c section.

Has anyone had a similar situation?

Hey Lost123,

Thanks for your reply.

Older child is at school but as social services were aware my parents have him a couple of nights a week and they are aware that they were taking him too and from school sometimes. Which is the plan with my eldest.

Supervising person is me and has been since the start my husband is allowed to live at home with us and has done since 4 weeks after his arrest.

I will keep to the same safety plan as I have with my eldest.

Do you mind if I ask what your husband is being charged with?

I am so sorry that social services have been so cruel. Maybe we were slightly lucky with our social worker she has been very kind and supportive.

Hey Lost123,

Thanks for your response.

Just a bit of an update my midwife spoke to MASH (social services) team today and they said as case is closed everything is closed for now.

Huge amount of relief and feel incredibly grateful that social services are being so supportive.

I really feel for you and what you went through you really did deserve better.

I hope there is an end to everything soon for you and your family xx
