We got the knock in June.
My dad was arrested for communicating with a minor.

we are waiting for second interview.

my question is this:-

will he be able to see his grandchildren still after he is charged?!

How will it affect my mum?
those kids are my mums life I don't know what she would have done without them!!

Hi

My situation little different as it's my son who's the offender and it was a communication offence. When he was arrested he was allowed to see our daughters little boy under supervision by us only. Fast forward to conviction and he was sent to prison. At that point social worker visited and advised that he could see the little one under supervision when he's released, fast forward to last week.bour son is due home next month. Health visitor visited daughter and told her she would be referring it back to social services because our son is due home soon. I'm led to believe it will just be a case of being told again that any contact must be supervised like they said the last time. I think maybe an asses ent has to be done in some areas of the country. Certainly here in Scotland that seems to be the case. I don't think your dad will not be allowed to see your kids but I do think it will only ever be allowed under supervision until they are eighteen if your dad gets convicted. Hope that helps x
