Hi.

Im sorry but I don’t know the answer to ur question but maybe seek advice from a solicitor? I think they would be able to advise u in ur case and I know they do 1st half hour/hour free.

Also you say if he’s charged. How far are u into his case? From reading on here it can take months maybe years before any charges are made.

I hope someone else on here can help and u find the answers u are looking for.

There is a fb page U.K. landlords. Join that as a landlord and post from a landlord perspective. They are a very knowledgable group and most member of the national landlord association so are able to access free correct information. Shelter also have an anonymous online chat which is really good.
