Struggling financially

Well everyone,
I spoke to my husband today we are getting divorced. I am moving with our two little boys and renting a property for a year. Our husband is in agreement and our house is up for sale - fingers crossed sale is going through.
I spoke to him because I am getting a removal company to help move our stuff and my little boys things and it costing quite a lot. I am on maternity leave and could really do with some financial support! For nappies and milk! He told me he has spent all "his" savings £50,000 on his defence and a forensic psychiatrist!
All I can think is your savings we were married and I am struggling to provide for two little boys! I mean I cannot even comprehend.

Sorry to read this, I can't even comprehend how anyone can put themselves before their children like that.
I don't know much about it, but are there other sources of support available to you from elsewhere? Have you checked with charities and the Martin Lewis site, benefit checker sites etc?

Thanks for replying guys. It's just awful. I'm feeling pretty emosh as the evening draws in. Just putting the boys to bed then might go to bed myself. Just reminiscing on the family we were, it's so sad how he decided that he would do what he wanted to do. Xx loads of love to you all
I'm so sorry, I feel exactly the same, I would give anything to have our family back. I often find myself looking back through photographs of happy times, and it is just heartbreaking :( xx
