Hi everyone, bit of advice really!. My husband has his bail extended for 3 months. His original bail conditions were " no unsupervised contact with u18 unless unavoidable or unforeseen". Our case was closed with SS. Our family situation is my daughter is now over 18 and my son nearly 16. My husband was bailed to here, I'm 100% in support of him and we live as a normal family, he's back at work full time. My question is should I contact the custody officer about the restriction?. The only U18 my husband has contact with is my son!. I'm on furlough but potentially back at work soon and work weekends therefore husband and son and daughter at home. Seems quite ridiculous for my husband to like sit in his car while I'm at work etc!!. The officer I'm in regular contact with had a long chat with me. I said I haven't chucked my husband out on the street after the knock and he was really pleased with that abs told us to just get on with life as these things take along time. Would my daughter be classed as a " supervising adult"? Do the police change restriction if you talk to them? Or do I just take it as read that my daughter can be the adult and I go to work at weekends? It's the only time he'd be home here without me!

Yeah I think I'll do that you know, get my husband to stay somewhere else on a Sunday. I don't want to rock the boat and we are 100% not gonna go against any bail, definately not! My husband wants to help in any way regarding police. I don't think I shall get back in touch with SS, they've closed the case so don't want anymore involvement from them. I mean my son is 16 soon. Like you've said before I think yellowhouse, he could be nearly 18 by the time this horrible situation is over!!

Thank you so much yellowhouse. I actually had a really positive time with the SW when she visited. I got myself into such a state with all the different scenarios but yeah she's closed the case. I count myself " lucky" with our situation. I mean my daughter is over 18. We can manage the restriction regarding my son. No idea what happens with SS after my husband is charged. He is fully open to pleading guilty and wants to do everything to help himself. Do the police contact SS again when he's sentenced etc? Or is it down to me to sort? I have all the protective measures in place now ( blocks on the internet, blocks on my husbands phone, and my son is very understanding of what my husband has done, downloaded iioc)
