Case closed , no charges

I havnt posted on here in a while. I just thought I would share my ex’s outcome in case it could help anyone,I havnt seen many stories on here with this outcome and I wanted to offer some hope.
My ex was arrested a year ago for sharing an iioc.I was 5 months pregnant at the time, very much in love and about to move in with him and my son from a previous relationship. Life was good and then it suddenly became my worst nightmare.
Lockdown was announced a few days later and I spent the next few months in shock and unable to eat or sleep, scared that I would lose my baby due to the stress of it all.
Fast forward 12 months. I Received a call from OIC to say the case has been closed and no charges are being brought. No further images were found. She explained a little more but I won’t go into that here. The main thing is, it’s over . I’m now left to try and rebuild my life and decide on how to go forward re my ex seeing his daughter ( social services restrictions and my lack of trust in him mean he hasn’t met her yet)
I never thought it would turn out like this,I was prepared for so much worse.
I pray some of you on here have a similar outcome. X

yellowhouse- Ss closed the case last feb as my ex was having no contact with my children.
The OIC Said she didn’t think SS would be reopening the case, but I’m going to get some advice on Monday re him seeing his daughter. I’ll post on here when I know.

Hi Marie.d I am so pleased to hear your outcome and I am so grateful for you sharing it.
My husband has received a CatC IIOC on snapchat and has sent it on. I am hoping and praying its only one photo in and out and they can clearly see it wasnt searched for or what he was after. (He sent his snapchat name onto an ADULT chat room to get pictures of women and ended up with this but was drunk and doesnt remember seeing it so cant tell me how its come to him, but I am hoping it was sent my a tryer and he pressumed it was a women and forwarded it on if that makes sense?)
I am terrified that it will come back bad, but if it is only 1 in and 1 out and theres no other searches, pictures, and clear its not what he was after, I'm praying it doesnt go to court but Im not convinced.

As someone who is at the finish line myself now, sending you the biggest hug and I'm so pleased it's over for you.
Like you I am trying to rebuild life on my own. Still have good days and bad days but to be expected after what we've been through!

Spoke to social services today.
They see no reason for involvement now. No evidence was found on any of my ex devices. It was one cat c image sent on Kik, Nothing else was found. Social worker actually seemed to feel sorry for him.
Our lives have been torn apart. I didn’t dare hope for an outcome like this, but now it’s here I just feel numb.
I hope you all get closure soon and are able to move on with your lives.

Can I ask if he made any comments on Kik? We had the knock 2 days ago. My partner of 15 years was arrested for one role played conversation. The character and child he created was imaginative (I still cannot believe I am writing this)

I have 3 young grandchildren and my daughters have obviously had to be told as bail conditions state they cannot stay overnight.
my world is crumbling, I love him and I believe that he has never acted out his descriptions but I cannot seem to find info of cases similar.
