I am Looking for advice from those who have used family rights forums
For quick background my partner is going through the family courts trying to supervised visitation rights through a contact centre. He has suspended sentence for possession and distribution of iioc and other illegal images/vids.
I have seen suggestions to seek advice and help through family rights forums but to be honest have been hesitant to use them for the fear of backlash since these forums have a mix of users.
Have others used these forums for help on getting offenders to be part of Thier childrens lives? What is your experience and what advice can you give so that I can get the most out of the forums?
The family courts is not going too well ATM. CAFCASS have seen that my partner is down as medium risk to children from a probation report and look like they are not as supportive as hoped for supervised visitation in a contact centre. My partner wants the contact centre as a means of mitigation, since he is aware that his risk isn't low (can't be really due to nature of his offence and only convicted less than two years ago).
Ideally looking for examples from others in similar situations to see if contact centres have been helpful and approved for those like my partner.

Regarding contact centers, I was going through the family court to get residency of my children when my ex was arrested.
I was told by social services and solicitor that he wouldn't be able to have contact in a contact center as they won't take sex offenders.
Might be worth checking with the one you'd like to use that they will accept him xxx

Hi concerned, he has asked two possible centres and have said they will have him if the courts allow. I wasn't aware that some won't take on sex offenders, that is a pain. I guess they need trained people available.
If he can't get supervised contact at a centre the next step would be to get his family members signed off as being able to supervise- but his ex doesn't want that and has passed comments that she thinks his family can't be trusted because the fact they haven't shunned him that they condone his behaviour...
