Hi!

We have our first children in need plan coming up. It will be via zoom that with the SW, school, nursery and maybe police investigating officer.

I've been told when it is and how to log on but nothing else. Should I received some sort of agenda or notes about what to expect? Will myself and my partner be asked questions?

Also it's been almost 4 weeks since SS got involved and I've not received a single report or written feedback? She visited 4 times and we've had several phone calls so she must be writing stuff down?? Should I have some sort of report or feedback ?

A little annoyed at the lack of report which I'm sure I should've received by now. She's newly qualified and often refers to checking with her manager...

Thanks x

None of my CIN meetings have ever had the police present..2yrs ago when this first began,in attendance at the first CIN meeting were myself,SW and the head teacher at my daughters junior school..

Fast forward to last Yr, CIN meetings included myself,SW and a senior DSL from my daughters high school. Never police or school nurses etc

We're on a CIN plan and are was so different we never had a planing meeting we were told on the call that the action we were working to we're on the family assessment paper work we were giving before the meeting started so didn't have time to read it. All the point on it were pointless as they all said can't be done till after investigation was over! We were giving are safty plan 4 days after the knock and have been told no matter what we can't change it and have to stick to it. We have done 2 CIN review and both times there is no new updates so I always point out what is the point!

the meeting is normal myself my husband both my sons schools and the ss the police have been invited every time but never join.

hope

you get more from ur meetings then we do there is 4 people telling ss that my children need to see there dad at the ss just say no.
