When was he sentenced? Typically it is rare for offenders get down to low risk until near the end of their sentence, but not guaranteed.

My partner is medium risk across the board. Suspended Sentenced in 2019 and still fighting for visitation rights at a contact centre and supervised. Admittedly his ex is dead against any contact.

My partner has been now told to get a private assessment done to show he isn't a risk to his children. But not Told exactly the criteria for such an assessment. I'm not sure an assessment is possible for those in prison..

I hope it can be resolved for youb

Hi Majestic!

how are you doing? How are things?
things are going good here. My partner had a meeting with his PO and probation and they are now sorting out contact. I've done everything I can this end. I've had deep conversations with my children about everything abs I've completed and passed 2 child protection courses and put together a safety plan. I am totally committed to making things work. Thank you for you response to my post.

all then best

P.s I'm not sure what Oliver meant by "nice post"? I'm pretty paranoid about strange comments on here.

Hello.

From what I gather, you are choosing to stay with your partner post offence. I did the same so appreciate what a gruelling process it is to convince the powers that be that you can safeguard your children.
I hope it works out for you. Good luck.

Best wishes,

MayBaby

P.S I agree Oliver's 'nice post' comment is very odd. Possibly a genuine thought just poorly expressed but I've flagged it up anyway.
