In the wake of the murder of Sarah Everard, Bel Mooney has written a column relating to the ease of accessing porn online and the effects it has on the human mind. It makes for interesting reading, but think it will still be a long time until the powers that be actually do something about this massive problem. There was an article about online gambling the other day on the news and about how a mans addiction had led him to lose his house, job etc and ended up with a jail sentence. The response from one of the gambling giants was that it helped to generate income for the industry. There appeared to be no understanding of the problems caused or any form of support for those that get dragged into this awful mire and it is the same for porn addiction. Too much at stake for the big people to regulate their offerings, whilst the little people are the ones who get penalised, sometimes it seems for ever.

Muggins I totally agree with your post! I often think why isn't the same warning out there for porn like when you see gamble responsibly or drink responsibly? It's like it's left to chance.

It will be interesting to see what conversations arise with everything that is going on currently.
