Question for all those who moved locations before court...

If we move county, when/if he is charged and this goes to court, will he be summoned to the court in the county where he committed the crime or where he now lives? What usually happens in these situations?

E.g (choosing random counties for anonymity) Living in Hertfordshire (Hertfordshire police doing the investigation) and move to Lancashire. Will court be in Hertfordshire or Lancashire?

Hi, my husband moved many miles away, but had to return to where the offence occurred for court. X

My partner's court case was in the area he was arrested. But if sentenced the probation and police liaisons will be in the area offenders are living

Thank you all so much for your responses! Overwhelming response seems to be court will be local to where the offence happened which gives me more peace of mind. Thank you!
