Hi,

My soon to be ex husband has been charged with attempting to sexually communicate with a child. He has pled not guilty.

I am also going through the divorce process and spoke to a solicitor for advice.

She told me to absolutely make sure that if our kids want to see him (which they haven't yet) then the visits will need to be supervised.

Social Services and the Police have not put anything in place to restrict him from seeing them or put anything in writing confirming his visits need to be supervised.

I'm totally confused. I want to protect my kids of course. I don't believe he would necessarily do anything to them but then again I can't be sure?

Can anyone share their situation and how you've handled it when living apart from the person in question please?

I feel silly for asking but I need to.

Thanks x

Thanks Lee, how would I go about contacting the family rights people please? Is that what they're called? Xx
