I'm sick of attending core meetings without any kind of support and I would like a trusted friend to sit with me while one is happening.
Can I have her with me?

do I have to inform other members she is there? I feel I'm attacked every time

at this last meeting school must have read the 1st ever original report taken at the beginning of this sorry mess where my in-laws told SS that my ex did most of the raising of our youngest as I was at work or too tired to look after him (all lies). School said my youngest was the spitting image of his dad in his mannerisms and the way he talked (my in-laws and my ex were well known in the school circles) the SS agreed with what school said. when I told my friend this she said school is there to teach not to judge and of course he's going to be like his dad he has his dna and had spent time with him before this. I always feel like I'm attacked by SS, health worker and school and they are there worst at core meeting but I want her there to see if my feelings are right or I'm just over sensitive. My ex from a previous relationship who has to attend the core meetings too because of our other children told me he thought they were all a***holes at the last meeting for how they all ganged up on me. I'm so sick of it all that I nearly hung up on the last meeting and I'm seriously considering not answering the phone to any future SS phone calls or school calls I'm tired of defending myself and my kids.

sorry my posts always seem to be about how I feel ganged up on. Thanks for reading I hope ur well and I'm sorry we are here in a club no one wants to be a member of.

Rusty, I don't normally swear but FFS!!!! These so called professionals are idiots!!! Don't they understand the stress and pressure you're living under? Shouldn't they be there to make life easier for you and therefore your children?? It makes me so mad, how badly families are dealt with in this situation. How the professionals pile on more damage and trauma...does that help? Hmmmm NO!

As advised you need an advocate, you shouldn't have to deal with bullies at any time, and that is what it sounds like to me. Would your ex be prepared to make an official complaint? It's his children too that are affected.

sending love and strength your way! xxx
