I'm posting here for advice and if anyone has been in the same situation.

my youngest will tell school that any cut or bruise he has that I did it to him. I never have and he's even fallen at school grazed himself which school has seen him do and injured himself. When he's then told school days later that I've done it who then rang me and even contacted our social worker about it.
He's now got a scratch on his leg that the stones in my ring have done as I don't have long nails that was done when he was climbing on me. Do I flag this up with school and my social worker or not say anything and see what happens. I've found school and social services judge and paint a picture of u and that's the way they see u and nothing changes no matter what I say.
I know this really isn't the place to ask but I wouldn't be under the intense scrutiny of school and social services if my ex hadn't done what he'd done.

Thanks

Gosh it's so horrible isn't it when you feel under suspicion too. My children both had A&E visits (in the same week!) last year when we were under SS. I emailed my social worker and explained the circumstances (one fell at school and the other had an injury from playing in a football match) I was so paranoid.
I think if you mention these things upfront you are potentially beating the school to it. However if the scratch is really quite minor I probably wouldn't. Kids gets scratches all the time and that's completely normal.
take care xx

Thank you bellabee

up to now the schools not mentioned the scratch. It's bad when we are going through all this and have school and health services asking stupid question and assuming the worst about us.
