It's been a while..

Im doing okay... Up and down... For those newbies, I've been on and off here for a while since November.

Just a question really - has anyone ever been told by the arresting officers and a stopso therapist that their SO/relative is likely to receive a caution, or sentence which has then gone ahead to be true when the investigations clears?

Im just after experiences... I know it's all down to the day and the way the wind blows...

Hi Blackhound

my son recently received a caution with restrictions, 2years on SOR . He self disclosed to police and gave his own devices up. I think that influenced their decision as I have read cautions are not given out very often . We wasn't told that he would receive a caution, I read up on various sentences and hope for one

hoping that all goes well for you

Hi black hound.

my SW thinks from what she knows about out case that he will get a prison stretch. He's been honest with the police and even SS about what he's done. I hear this can go in his favour when it comes to court but SW keeps telling me to expect a prison term for him. I'm still playing the wait and see game though.
keep safe x

Thanks for the response both. It's comforting to find out he's revived a caution and self-disclosed.

Takes guts to do that..

It horrible to hear he's might be getting a potential prison term...

Ive never heard of the police stating potentiomal case outcomes on the day if the arrest... It's vexes me a lot.
