Hi everyone
So my friend is been charged with just under 1000 iioc across all categories but he's moved to an new city and he's said that when it goes to court he will go to his old city where the offences taken place will the local media from his old city report on it if he doesn't live there anymore and will the media in his current city find out about it?
And on another note has anyone had any experiences with someone who's who's caught with under 1000 iioc and what their sentence outcome was?

Evening I remember your post from last time.. I hope you and your friend are doing OK?
So with regards change of address he will go to court in hometown so where he used to live. Its luck of the draw if it ends up in newspapers but if it does it will be newspaper of where the court is.
As regards to sentencing again its down to judge on day there's so many factors too.
My son has been charged with 400 iioc in all catagories and is due in magistrates in July and will 100% go to Crown.

My partner was sentenced in a court in another city for more than 1000s iioc. He wasn't in any news from the area of the courts or where he now lives. But unfortunately it is kinda random if it is reported or not.

Thanks for the reply he's coming to the end of it all now just awaiting cps decisions he moved to try and get away from it all to also protect his family from any possible backlash and I have heard that alot with people saying its down to judge on the day which is abit unfair because I imagine if they are In a bad mood they will just give an unfair sentence and hope you and your son are doing well given the circumstances

I'm sorry to hear your friend moved away from his family. Oh it is absolutely so unfair that the judge can do that and I am absolutely petrified of what can happen.
I've recently heard of people changing there name before court,it will be heard in the new name if you act fast .
